hope的用法

hope用作及物动词的时候，固定搭配：hope to do sth（希望做某事）；当hope在句子找那个作动词的时候，后面可以接that+句子；当hope在句子中作不及物动词的时候，hope for sth（希望某事）。

一、当hope用作及物动词的时候，其含义是“希望”。我们常用的固定搭配是“hope to do sth”，其含义是希望做某事。

比如：He hope to become a singer in the future.

他希望将来可以成为一个歌手。

I hope to study English with my best friend.

我希望能和我的好朋友一起学习英语。

My mother hopes to go to the shopping in the weekend.

二、当hope在句子找那个作动词的时候，后面可以接that+句子。其中that可以省略。
