push的用法

push作名词有推动，奋发的意思。作动词有推开，催促，扩展等含义。可用作名词，不及物动词，及物动词和宾补动词使用。

一、push的含义

n.

1.推，推动 

He opened the door with one push.

他一推门就开了。

2.奋发，努力，奋进 

We must make a push to democracy.

我们必须为了实现民主而努力。

v.

1.推；推开 

After trimming, push the hair trimmer knob down.

修整结束后，将侧轧剪开并推下。

2.催促；逼迫 

She pushed her son to pursue an academic career.

她督促儿子从事学术。

3.推进；推行；挤出（路）前进

We must push forward the free convertibility of the RMB step by step in an orderly manner.

我们应当循序渐进，稳步推进人民币可兑换。

4.扩展，扩大；增加 

Scientists continue to push back the boundaries of knowledge.

科学家不断地把知识领域的边缘向外扩展。

5.推销 

You must push your wares if you want better sales.

如果你想要销路好，你必须强行推销你的商品。

二、用作不及物动词

S+～(+A)

The door pushes easily.

这门一推就开。

You push while I pull.

你推我拽。

Don't push.

Wait your turn to get on the bus.不要推,依次上车。

三、用作及物动词

S+～+n./pron.

He pushed me and I fell into the water.

他把我推落水中。

If you push the car,I'll steer it.

如果你来推车,我就来驾车。

I pushed the car but it didn't move.

我推了推车,但它一动也不动。

四、用作宾补动词

1.S+～+n./pron.+adj./adv./v-ed

She pushed the door open.
